Trinidad Esmeralda
Grand robusto (dinoras)
Wrapped in a fine, oily colorado leaf, the Esmeralda offers a very good draw. At cold draw, aromas of wood, spices, and brioche tease the palate.
Tasting after lighting:
The first third presents a pleasant and sustained start with notes of fern and wood. Brioche and honey swiftly enter the scene. The smoke is light yet carries delicate brioche aromas.
The second third marks a notable increase in strength, unveiling aromas of leather, cedar, and green pepper. The honeyed touch persists, and the smoke thickens with spicy coffee notes.
In the final third, the Esmeralda becomes more full-bodied, offering a spectacular aromatic fireworks finale: leather, fresh herbs, wood, earth, and black pepper.
Conclusion from the enthusiast:
A highly expressive and balanced Havana, perfectly paced with a beautiful power progression. It gains an additional ring this year.
