El Rey del Mundo Choix Suprême

Wood is the most consistently reported tasting note, frequently appearing as cedar or oak alongside toast, leather, coffee, and nuts. Cigar Aficionado’s newest review from 2021 describes mineral notes, buttered toast, dried rose petal, anise, almond, and a dry woody finish. Its 2019 assessment retains the toast-and-wood foundation but adds coffee, oak, and dried fruit. Older tastings more often connect wood with leather, coffee, earth, nuts, salt, or cream, while some report floral, peppery, herbal, or fruity contrasts.

What distinguishes the reported El Rey del Mundo Choix Suprême profile is the wide range of accents built around a stable woody center. Toast, coffee, leather, and nuts create warmth and depth, while minerals, flowers, citrus, olives, fruit, honey, or vanilla can shift the profile toward drier, brighter, or sweeter territory. The reviews show meaningful variation in strength and balance rather than one uniform expression. Production date, storage, age, and individual taste can affect the flavors perceived.
