Excellent cigar can’t wait to order more

I’d been waiting a long time for these inexpensive Lonsdale cigars to be back in stock. The Fonseca brand was founded in 1892 when Don Francisco E. Fonseca established a factory and cigar brand bearing the family name in Havana. It is the only Cuban cigar that is wrapped in silk tissue paper, and it is almost always sold out. Cigar snobs might think this is because the Fonseca is one of the least expensive Cuban cigars available, but then the Cohiba Siglo VI is also always sold out as well, and it is one of the most expensive! The Fonseca No.1 gives a nice, long hour of enjoyment in the late afternoon or early evening. With a guillotine cut, the draw is excellent and can be successfully smoked down to an inch, provided you burn off the gasses as it shortens. I look forward to the next time the No.1 is back in stock!

Nice cigar very creamy mild some notes of pepper vanilla.but I did find it a bit tight on the draw. But it did open up and smoke was nice.

I love the taste BUT these cigars are very hard to draw even after Piercing them With a cigar poker . I’m hoping that after hanging out in my Humidor For a few months that they relax a little bit . As far as CCG goes we got off to a rocky start but it was all Straighten out .

For the price, it’s really good and worth passing the cigar out for gifts.

This was my second purchase of Fonceca #1, first rate CCG packaging as always, but quiet a few hard draws , it seems that’s the way brand wraps it’s cigars. I’ll try one more order when new inventories arrives then.....

Tightly rolled, both I have smoked have been a tough draw. Over all a nice smoke for the price. Nice hints of spice with a leather backside. I would say a mild cigar. Will let the rest age and see how much better they get.

I ordered several of these and every one was a very hard draw. Nice flavor when you could get smoke. Won't waste my money on them again. I will stick with my favorite...Romeo y Julieta and Monte Cristo.

Have found my share of knots making the draw a tough sometimes. This a very smooth smoke and great morning or first smoke of the day.

This box shipped to the states with no problems, Smokes were well packaged and arrived fresh and tasty. Could not ask for a better service.

This is presented so well ,and now I know why. Good smoke but flavor not quite what you'd expect in a good Cuban. Never really changed the whole way through. Kind of nutty, & bitter.

nice balanced mild to med cigar with tasty flavors...

Despite the looo...ong shipping time, cigars were in a perfect condition. Before I ordered them, I had doubts such as what they were fake, or what if the cigars are in poor condition; however they were perfect and %100 real Cuban cigars. I hope, my next purchase will arrive sooner and wouldn't have to wait a month.

This beast is a real Rogue. Some part of the filler caught and burned like brimstone. The thing had great overall mystery and flavor...light to medium, more medium with that something we all know and love about Cuban cigars. Despite the crazy burn, I loved the damn thing. Hey, it cost 8 bucks and it's a Cuban! Great casual entertainment for sitting in the afternoon sun. I ordered a couple more.

Cigars came in a timely fashion. I asked for the box to be opened and inspected (the option you should select) cigars came in perfect condition and were great to share with family and friends during the holidays.

Not a well-known cigar, however a hidden gem. A smooth rich easy going cigar I must say I've enjoyed smoking this cigar & I will buy it again.

These are good everyday cigars. Not mind blowing, bug good tobaccos flavor.

So far one of the cigars the outer leaf came loose and the cigar didn't stay intact completely but good on the whole

I've bought these cigars severe times and always enjoy them. I frequently see them described as "for beginners" and consider that as a dismissive description. For me it's about taste and this one delivers. I don't care if it's full strength or mild, as long as it's flavorful. Construction has always been good. My only complaint is they are very moist and need some time in the humidor to balance out before smoking. To much moisture has a negative impact on taste. Very fast shipping.

On the advice of Cuban Cigar Group, I purchased a box when my regular Hoyo Epicure 1's were out of stock. Great recommendation! A classic Lonsdale size, with a very nice medium wrap. Cigar starts out a bit rough, but a bout a half an inch in, it smooth's out and becomes an excellent cigar. This is on of those cigar I hate to snuff out. Hints of leather, coffee and even a slight taste of vanilla. Nice even draw and burn. Overall, a great after golf cigar!

Good tasting

This cigar has a consistent flavor and strength that is perfect if you are looking for a relaxing smoke. I am a beginner and I would classify it being a light to medium. I would recommend trying one.

Would be a nice mellow cigar if it wasn't that plugged. Could hardly get any smoke from it till the second half.

Fresh out of the box flavor a bit lacking a little too humid and tight draw but a good smoke. Let them rest enough to acquire the right humidity the draw gets more consistent and they seem to absorb and deliver a unique spiciness that is easy to enjoy.
