The Cuaba brand was first launched in London in 1996, marking the first new Cuban cigar brand to enter commercial production since 1968. The launch location was no coincidence—Habanos S.A. sought to revive the classic British tradition of figurado cigars, which had nearly disappeared by the early 20th century.
